My roots in photography began many years ago—as a little girl, I spent time on the weekends with my uncle, Damon Higgins. Damon is a Visual Journalist in West Palm Beach, FL, who tells incredible stories through the light within his images. I wanted to be just like him! Every chance I could, I would go with him on different assignments—but the most memorable moments happened in my Grandmother’s home, where he would test his lighting skills and develop his film. My siblings, cousins, and I were usually his subjects. I’ll never forget how it felt not only having my picture taken, but watching how he manipulated light and created images.

While I never imagined that I' would craft my own life around photography and art as a full-time thing, these days I couldn’t imagine what life would be like if I hadn’t! I’ve done everything from teaching art to kitchen and bath design. However, photography and design continued be a common thread—I never stopped creating. My passion grows stronger every day, and my favorite part is being able to figure out how to tell stories without words, while making my clients look and feel their very best through my work.
